“Merge” refers to the joining of two or more things into one thing. This exhibition features the work of approximately 20 Artists at the Workhouse working in collaborative pairs to create art. Glass artists working with painters, fiber artists working with ceramic artists – visitors will see complex new and untried artwork.
“Merge” encourages exploration and experimentation outside the comfort zone of established artists, challenging them to find new aspects of their practice they might not have otherwise discovered. The Workhouse is an artist community; “Merge” makes artists get a little closer!
“This exhibit started with a challenge to Artists at the Workhouse; to revisit their practice from another angle and discover how their work interacts with others.  The artists have accepted, and ‘Merge’ will be a fun exhibition showing creativity on another level.” - Brett John Johnson, Director of Visual Arts

"In The Garden" is scheduled for Fri. May 16 to Mon. June 15. Works will be on display in the
Franklin Park Arts Center Lobby Gallery.

The public is invited to a reception at the gallery from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 20.  Meet the artists, see demonstrations of how their work is created, and enjoy refreshments.
